WACO, Texas – The Nicholls State University women's cross country team completed its season Saturday morning in the 2011 NCAA South Central Regional meet, as Jessica McLeod paced the Colonels on the day.

McLeod finished 71st overall with a time of 22:58.9, followed by Ingvild Vedde who finished in 71st place in 22:59.1.

Emily Charlesworth finished 76th with a time of 24:27, as Ashley Johnson and Jackie White finished in 26:16.7 and 26:55.7 to round out the Nicholls team.

The women's team will begin the track and field season in January.
