LAKE CHARLES, La. – The Nicholls State University football team will kick off the 2011 season on Wednesday at the Southland Conference's annual football media day, with live streaming of the event starting at 8 a.m.

Live interviews with the Colonels' head coach Charlie Stubbs, All-SLC honorable mention quarterback LaQuintin Caston and first-team All-Southland cornerback Bobby Felder are scheduled to begin at 10:15 a.m.

In addition to the coaches and player interviews, the SLC will announce the league's preseason poll and all-SCL teams.
