THIBODAUX - The Nicholls State University football team will hold its first scrimmage of the 2011 fall camp, starting at 9 a.m. in John L. Guidry Stadium. The Colonels are slated to go live until approximately 10:30 a.m.

Immediately following the scrimmage, the Nicholls football program will host Tillou's Maniac, a free youth clinic for children ages 7-12, from 10:30-11:30 a.m.

Admission to both events on Saturday is free. All participants in the clinic are asked to bring their own youth-sized footballs.

“It's a great way to give back and attract more interest in the community,” Coach Stubbs said. “It should be a lot of fun.”
