THIBODAUX - The Nicholls State University football team will be hosting their third annual Football Kickoff Luncheon at Noon on Monday, August 29 at Envie Restaurant in Thibodaux.

Admission to the event will be 15 dollars at the door and includes food and beverages. The public is invited to attend this annual event promoting and supporting the Colonel football team.

All of the football coaches, including head coach Charlie Stubbs, will be in attendance including some selected players. Colonel fans in attendance will be able to meet and greet the coaches and players.

During the luncheon, Stubbs will preview the upcoming season as well as recap this season's fall camp for Colonel football fans.

"We are excited about having our kickoff luncheon and we hope many of people can attend," Stubbs said.  "It is a great way to show support for our team and kickoff the season."
