THIBODAUX - The Nicholls State University football team completed its 17th practice of the fall on Friday evening and will have its second live intra-squad scrimmage on Saturday morning at John L. Guidry Stadium. Practice will begin at 8:30 a.m. with the scrimmage set to start at 9:00.

The scrimmage will be held in a similar format to last week's, where the team worked on first down, third down and red zone situations, while also breaking up for 7-on-7 passing drills.

Following Saturday, Nicholls will take Sunday off before they begin to game plan for their opening opponent, Evangel University.
