ASU Kickoff Klassic Results

JONESBORO, Ark. - The Nicholls State University women's track and field team opened the 2012-13 indoor season on Sunday at the ASU Kickoff Klassic hosted by Arkansas State, and fared well earning multiple top five finishes on the day.

Three of the day's top finishers came in the form of Jackie White, Ashley Johnson and Kryshell Rolle. White finished second in the 800-meter run finishing in 2:18.19, followed by Johnson who finished third in 2:23.34. Rolle finished third in the 400-meter run, clocking in with a time of 1:00.56.

The second place finish for White in the 800-meter event was the first of two for the junior on Sunday, as she also took home fourth place honors in the mile run, finishing in 5:12.07.

Other Colonels who finished in the top ten on the day was Emily Charlesworth in the 3000-meter run, Tricia Carrier in the triple jump, Cymone Hamilton in the shot put and Aja Scott and Anna Foulds in the weight throw.
