Colonel Baseball to Hold Bark at the Park on Friday

THIBODAUX, La. – Coinciding with Nicholls State University's annual Take Your Dog to Work Day, the Nicholls baseball team will host their first-ever Bark in the Park, sponsored by Petco, this Friday when the squad takes on McNeese State at 6 p.m. at Ray E. Didier Field.
 
All fans in attendance are invited to enjoy the game with their dogs, with free treats provided courtesy of Petco. Prizes will be awarded, courtesy of Sodexo, to the pooches that are best-dressed in showing off their Colonel Pride.
 
All fans bringing their dogs are asked to read and follow the Petiquette guidelines listed below so that this event is an enjoyable experience for all.

PETIQUETTE AT DIDIER FIELD
-Dogs must be on a leash at all times while inside the stadium.
-You must supervise your dog closely at all times. Be respectful of those who are uncomfortable with dogs.
-Dogs must be up-to-date on all vaccinations and have proof of current rabies vaccination (tag or papers).
-Do not bring a dog in heat.
-If your dog is uncomfortable with people or other dogs or has aggressive tendencies, please do not being him/her into the stadium.
-Dogs must be flea-free.
-Bring treats, toys, poop bags and a bowl for water.
-Everyone is responsible for cleaning up after their dog! All pet waste must be placed in closed bags before going in a trash receptacle.
-All dogs are free to play on the grassy area outside the stadium along the first base line.
