THIBODAUX, La. - The Nicholls State University Department of Athletics announced Tuesday a partnership with ESPN Radio New Orleans 100.3 FM to air all 11 Colonel football games during the 2015 season.
 
"I am delighted to welcome ESPN New Orleans as our flagship radio station.  They are a wonderful addition to our group of media partners," said Rob Bernardi, Nicholls Director of Athletics.  "I know Coach Rebowe and his staff, players and the fans appreciate this relationship.  It certainly helps brighten the future of Colonel football."
 
KLRZ is an 89,000 watt FM station devoting 27 hours a week to live, local programming with hosts Scott Alexander, Ken Friedlander and Casey Gisclair. In addition to live coverage of each game, ESPN Radio New Orleans will conduct interviews with Colonel coaches and players throughout the season.
 
Jerry "Truck" Gisclair is the owner of Coastal Broadcasting Network and was a driving force in the creation of this partnership.
