Visiting Team Guide
  • Nicholls Athletics would like to welcome the visiting team and their fans to our campus. For a complete visitor's guide, please click here (DOC).

Ticket/Box Office
  • Ticket booths will open 2 hours prior to kick-off and are located on the Northwest and Northeast entrances to John L. Guidry Stadium.
  • All major credit cards are accepted at the Nicholls Athletics Ticket Office.
  • Player Pass List, General Will Call, and High School Coaches Tickets can be found at the Southwest entrance.
  • ALL ticket purchases are non-refunable.
  • Children that are 5 years of age and under will be admitted to the game for free.
  • Gates to the stadium will open 90 minutes prior to kick-off.
  • Group ticket inquiries can be made by contacting the ticket office at 985-448-4790 in advance of every football game.

Tailgating Guidelines
  • Tailgate reservations are $175 per spot for the full 2019 season and $50 per spot for individual games. Each spot will be assigned based on availability.
  • To reserve a tailgate spot for the season or individual games please call the Nicholls Ticket Office at 985-448-4790.
  • Student groups looking to request a reserved tailgating spot need to contact Sabrina Laurent, Director of Student Engagement, 985-493-2741
  • ALL tailgate areas will be swept 15 minutes prior to each kick-off. Fans will be encouraged to enter the game or vacate the tailgate areas.
  • Tents, tables, chairs and electricity are not provided to outside groups or student groups.
  • Each group must clear trash and debris from respective area.
  • Music must be courteous to other tailgaters. Loud music is never allowed once any band begins to play in the parking lot.
  • Large tents must be secured with cement weights. If stakes are required - please only insert them into grass areas.
  • Advertising and fundraising at athletic events is not allowed by outside groups (this includes individuals, schools, non-profit organizations, etc.) without the written permission of the Athletics Department.
  • Political fundraising at University-sponsored events is prohibited as such events may jeopardize the tax exempt status for the University and its affiliate organizations. While the University does not prohibit political speech, political signage may not be displayed on campus. In addition, certain political promotional materials may not be distributed, including but not limited to koozies, shirts, hats, etc., out of respect for the corporate partners. Political candidates will be allowed to distribute paper handouts, including flyers, brochures and pamphlets, in the tailgate area of athletic events. However, candidates may not hand out any items at entrances where tickets are being checked or inside the stadium/athletic venue because of possible conflicts or interference with others who purchased tickets.
  • Any corporate advertising (tents, giveaways, tablecloths, etc.) must go through Colonel Sport Properties, who can be reached at 985-221-4259.
  • Port-a-lets are placed in the northeast and northwest corners of John L. Guidry Stadium. Tailgaters may NOT bring in "private" port-a-lets or move the already existing port-a-lets. Port-a-lets are placed in specific locations so that no one is burdened with the unpleasant aura they may sometimes provide.

Parking Guidlines
  • The gravel parking lots on the West side of the stadium (Lots 14/15 - Blue area) will be reserved for Season Parking Passes ONLY this season. Fans must have their Season Parking Pass present in order to park in this lot.
  • Parking on game days will be free of charge in any of the green sections on the map below.
  • ADA parking is available per vehicle on a first-come, first-served basis. A person with an ADA state placard or license plate MUST be in the vehicle.
  • RV Parking will be designated to the Ayo Hall Parking Lot (Red Section). RV Parking will open beginning Friday at 5:00 PM. RV's must vacate the parking lot on Sunday.
  • Prices: Season RV Parking Space -- $175 | Single Game RV Parking Space -- $50.
  • To reserve an RV Parking Space please call 985-448-4791 or email sean.beam@nicholls.edu.
  • Your RV must be self-contained (your own generator and sewage storage tank). Nicholls will not supply electrical hook-ups.
  • Visiting fans can park in the Visiting Parking Lot (Purple Section) free of charge.

Student Section
  • The student section will be located on the East side of the stadium in sections A-C.
  • Only current students with a valid Colonel Card, and fans with "Student Guest" tickets will be admitted into the corresponding section(s).
  • Student Guest tickets can be purchased at the East gate on game days with a valid Colonel Card or in the ticket office during the week. 

Radio and TV Broadcasts
  • Radio: Listen to Colonel Football live on 100.3 FM ESPN Radio New Orleans and KBZE 105.9 FM The Breeze. Coverage begins 30 minutes before kickoff and continues for 30 minutes after conclusion.
  • Internet Video: Watch Nicholls Football home games online at geauxcolonels.com/showcase (video subscription required).
  • TV Games will be announced when designated. For broadcast information stay tuned to www.geauxcolonels.com

Elevators
  • West side: Elevators are available in the at the West side home entrance.
  • Only fans, Nicholls administration/staff, visiting team support staff, and press with proper credentials and tickets can access the elevator.

Field Access
  • Only authorized persons with proper credentials are allowed on the field. Fans entering the field area without proper credentials are subject to eviction and arrest. Credentials for field access are not available for purchase.

Game Dates/Times/Evacuation
  • Nicholls Football game dates and times are subject to change. In the event a game date or time change should occur, the information will be immediately posted on GeauxColonels.com, and will be communicated through the local media. Refunds will not be available for game time changes, all tickets will be honored at the changed game time.
  • In the event of an emergency, listen for instructions from the public address announcer; stadium ushers and law enforcement will direct you to the closest safe exit. Assist other patrons who may need your assistance. All exits and emergency exits are in the stadium are clearly marked.

Security
  • Suspicious activity, disruptive patrons and guest-related problems should be reported to an usher or police officer immediately. Uncooperative patrons showing disregard for other patrons, the stadium, or the teams may be ejected from the facility. Intoxicated fans will not be allowed into the stadium. An ejected patron will not be allowed to return for the remainder of the game. Re-entry by an ejected patron is grounds for arrest.
  • To report an incident in your seating area, please notify the nearest usher, security guard or Nicholls policeman at the entrance nearest to your seat.
  • After the game, please fill out the available Fans First comment card with all game day related questions or concerns.

Smoking Policy
  • Nicholls State University is a tobacco-free campus. Smoking is not permitted under any circumstances on Nicholls State University property.
