The Colonels engaged in reading and station learning activities with the kindergarten class, and the children even shared some of their art projects.
Players who participated in the event were quarterback
Hayden Cardiff; offensive linemen
Jesse Kennon,
Garrison Trice and
Cailin Cola; defensive lineman
Andrew Carter and cornerback
Jonathan Gibson.
“Our goal is to develop the total student-athlete, and we believe it's very important to give back to the community,” said Nicholls football head coach Charlie Stubbs. “We're very excited about allowing our young men to have these kinds of experiences.”
Throughout the year, the Nicholls football program has been active in the community, making frequent visits to schools and local hospitals as well as participating in other various community service projects.
