THIBODAUX, La. - Today's Northwestern State-Nicholls baseball game has been postponed due to field conditions and will be played tomorrow at 1 p.m. as part of a doubleheader.

The overwhelming amount of rain over the night and most of Saturday has filled spots on the field with water, but a day to let the field drain will allow for better playing conditions on Sunday.

Before the first game, the team will recognize seniors Blake Bergeron, Brad Delatte, Beau Faulk, Austin Flores, Jeremy Hill, Michael LeGrange, Kevin Persick, Patrick Shreve, Seth Webster, Evan Weibel, Donnie White and Mike Wisecarver in their final home games as Colonels.

There will be a 30-minute break between the first and second game.
