FRISCO, Texas - Nicholls State University freshman
Maxwell Lindstedt has been named Jersey Mike's Southland Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday afternoon.
Lindstedt posted a 5-0 combined record for the week, pacing Nicholls to three victories against Coastal Alabama and Prairie View A&M. He won all three of his singles matches in straight sets, two coming at No. 1, and his two doubles matches 6-2.
Lindstedt is 4-0 in singles for the season. He is the first men's tennis player to garner a weekly award this year.
UP NEXT
Nicholls will head to Baton Rouge for a Thursday match against Southern before hosting Jackson State on Friday.
