Hunter picked up his second Southland Conference Player of the Week Award on Monday, finishing one point shy of his career high by recording 27 points in Nicholls' win over Jarvis Christian last week.

Hunter narrowly missed a double-double, hauling down a game-high nine rebounds and also added five assists in the Colonels only game last week.

The award is the second of the season for Hunter, who claimed the first Southland Conference Player of the Week Award of the season on Nov. 15.  Hunter's first award this year came on the heels of his 28-point performance in the Colonels' last second overtime loss at Houston in the Nov. 12 season opener.
