#Lauren Jones# was named female student athlete of the week after she shattered the school's 5K cross country record last weekend, taking 12th place in the largest field in the history of the University of Alabama's Crimson Classic.  Against some of the best cross country teams in the south, Jones clocked in at 18:03.70 and narrowly missed out on a top-10 finish in one of the biggest meets in the south this year.
