Senior shortstop Chase Jaramillo led the way for the Colonel offense in the season-opening weekend.  Jaramillo hit safely in all three games and recorded a pair of multi-hit games at the 2011 Louisiana Tech Classic.  Went 5-for-13 with a team-high five RBI.  Drove in all five runs for the Colonels, including the game-winning grand slam with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning.
