Nicholls freshman Kristjan Einarsson captured his second victory of the 2010-11 season by grabbing first-place at the Grub Mart-Young Oil Intercollegiate held at the par 72, 7,040 yard Silver Lakes Golf Course.

Sitting in third place and four shots back heading into the final round, Einarsson vaulted up the leader board by firing a 1-over 73 on Tuesday to capture medalist honors with three other players.  He finished the 54-hole event with a 74-66-73=213 (-3) total to lead the Colonels. With the victory, Einarsson becomes the first player in Nicholls history to win multiple tournaments. His first victory came at the HBU Intercollegiate in October.
