A second consecutive dominating complete game victory led to a second consecutive weekly honor for Nicholls State University junior right hander Seth Webster, as the Southland Conference named the Colonel right hander Pitcher of the Week for the second straight week on Monday. 

On Friday, Webster shut down Texas-San Antonio, logging his fourth complete game of the season, tying for the conference lead.  Webster allowed just one unearned run on eight hits with no walks while striking out seven batters en route to a 4-1 Nicholls victory.

Webster threw 9.0 IP for the fifth time in his last six outings and recorded his second consecutive complete game victory.  The Delville, La. native has not walked any batters in his last 18.1 IP and has not allowed an earned run in his last 18.0 IP.

Webster picked up his first Pitcher of the Week Award last Monday following a complete game shutout of Sam Houston State that led to a two-games-to-one series victory for the Colonels.

The Buckeye High School product is now tied for the conference lead with four complete games and ranks second in the Southland Conference with a 2.16 ERA.
