Conway, Ark. - The Central Arkansas Sugar Bears did everything right in their 6-1 win over the Nicholls State soccer team friday as five different UCA players scored in the game.

Nicholls (1-12-1, 0-3) got no time to establish a game play as within the two minutes Ashley Line scored the first UCA (5-6) goal of the game. Line would score again nine minutes later with her second goal of the day that went off the fingers of goalie Molly Mersereau.

Sara Curry and Randi Condley would score the next two goals to put up four goals in the first half for the Sugar Bears. Gillian McCarter would score the first goal of her Nicholls career in the 30th minute from a Sara West pass.

Lauren Carter and Aly Murray would score the final two goals in the game, capping a 27-shot performance by the Sugar Bears in the game.

the team will be in action again Sunday afternoon against Northwestern State and for the final two home games of the season against McNeese and Lamar.
