Nacogdoches, Texas - With a hearty task ahead of them, the Nicholls State soccer team had to face a solid Stephen F. Austin team in Nacogdoches and by the end of the night, the Ladyjacks would wrap up their fifth Southland soccer title and number one seed in the tournament with a 7-0 victory over the Colonels Sunday Afternoon.

The Ladyjacks (11-4-2, 7-1-1) scored four goals in the first period and three in the second, as the Colonels (2-17-1, 1-8) would only manage two shots on goal in the game, while SFA would get a whopping 43 with 27 shots on goal.

Four Ladyjack players would account for the seven goals, with Erika Palmacci finished with three goals in the game, followed by Lauren Fricks with two.

The game marked the last contest for seniors Jessica Schwartz and Heather Gamble in a Colonel uniform.
