Tulane shot 64.3 percent (26-of-66) from field goal range for the game en route to a 108-66 victory over Nicholls in Stopher Gym on Wednesday night.
The Green Wave (6-3) also had four players cross the decade mark, and finished 60.9 percent (14-of-23) from three-point range. Of their four players with 10-plus points, Megan Valicevic and Indria Kaljo each had 21.
"It is tough to beat anyone when they are just firing on all cylinders like that," said Head Coach DoBee Plaisance about Tulane.
"I have to give it to our team, and know that they are giving me everything they have out there. We are young in a lot of places, and continue to improve with each and every game."
The Colonels (0-8) finished the contest with three players in double figures, which included a career night for senior Tiffany Jones with 22 points. Jones also had five assists, three rebounds and one steal in the loss.
Also helping Nicholls reach its highest point total of the season was senior Christie Bryant and true freshman Jasmine Hoskins, as each were in double figures. Bryant finished with 14 points and a game best nine rebounds, while Hoskins had 12 off the bench to go along with her four rebounds.
Nicholls shot 39.4 percent (26-of-66) from the floor and 18.2 percent (2-for-11) from three-point land for the game, while losing the rebounding battle, 39-to-31.
Each squad had 19 turnovers in the game, but Tulane turned Nicholls miscues into 42-points while the Colonels only converted 13. However, Nicholls did have more second chance points, 20-to-17, and had more steals, 7-to-4.
The Colonels will resume action at Jackson State (2-6) on Friday December 17 at 7 p.m.
