Final Stats

STARKVILLE, Miss. - Mississippi State remained perfect on the season with its 97-25 victory over Nicholls on Saturday afternoon in the Humphrey Coliseum.

Mississippi State (6-0) had two players in double-digits to go along with four other players who each had nine points. Nicholls (0-5) was led by senior Tiffany Jones in scoring with seven points in 38 minutes of action on the hardwood.

Next inline for Nicholls in points was true freshman Nadia Cox with five points in only eight minutes of work off the bench. Cox also had three rebounds, two steals, a block and an assist. Tied for team-high honors in rebounds were Jones, senior Funaki Kefu and true freshman Danielle Douglas with four boards each.

The Colonels will be back in action this Wednesday December 10 at Centenary College in Shreveport, La. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
