Tulane University recently announced the cancellation of the Tulane Green Wave Invitational cross country meet which was scheduled for Friday afternoon at City Park in New Orleans.

The decision was made due to the impending weather threat from Tropical Storm Gustav.

The Colonels cross country teams are scheduled to compete at the Rajin' Cajun Invitational in Lafayette on September 5.
