MOBILE, Ala. - Two Jaguars logged hat tricks as South Alabama cruised to a 7-0 victory over Nicholls Saturday afternoon at the Cage. The Colonels fall to 2-3 on the season, while USA improves to 2-5.

For South Alabama, Tiara Smith tallied four goals while Brandi Smith had three. Liz Clark dished out four assists on the afternoon.

Molly Mersereau made six saves in goal for the Colonels, spending just over 74 minutes in the net. Sarah Damen, who played the last 16 minutes of the game as goalie logged two saves.

The Colonels posted three shots on goal as Allison Flynn, Samantha Etherington and Carolyn Noble each squared shots on the net.

Nicholls will return to the pitch Sunday at 2 p.m. to face Mississippi State in the final game of the South Alabama Soccer Tournament.
