Final Stats

THIBODAUX, La. - Nicholls women's tennis team fell to Texas-San Antonio on Saturday morning 6-0 at the Colonel Tennis Complex.

Due to the threat of rain, both teams agreed to by pass doubles competition to play singles. With the match decided after the singles action, both teams chose not to play doubles.

Both sophomores Florina Nosca and Natalia Zamora forced three sets before falling. Nosca fell 6-4, 4-6, 9-11 to UTSA No.1 Karen Scida, and Zamora lost 6-3, 4-6, 5-10 to No.2 Nathalie Wallin.

Nicholls (2-1, 1-1) will be back in action against Sam Houston State on March 7 in Huntsville, Texas.
