Final Stats

THIBODAUX, La. - Nicholls women's tennis team posted a 6-1 victory over Louisiana Tech on Saturday, but fell 7-0 to in-state and conference foe Northwestern State on Sunday.

The Colonels (5-5, 1-4) won all of their singles matches against Louisiana Tech (3-12) to get the win, and only lost the doubles point. Nicholls only had two of its singles matches go beyond two sets, and leading the Colonels was sophomore Florina Nosca with a 6-0, 6-1 victory in No.1 singles.

Nicholls then went on suffer a 7-0 defeat to Northwestern State (9-5, 4-2) on Sunday. Forcing three sets in singles were Nosca and junior Nicole September before falling in the final sets.
