HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Nicholls men's tennis team suffered a 5-2 setback at Southern Miss on Wednesday, and will pick up action on Tuesday March 10 when they host Austin Peay at 1:30 p.m.

The Colonels (3-6, 0-2) posted two wins in singles play as junior Eric Fisher got the 6-4, 6-4 victory over Andrew Poole at the No.2 slot, and junior Phenyo Matong took Jan Burmeister the distance at No.4 singles, getting the 4-6, 6-1, 6-4 win.

Nicholls will host Austin Peay on Tuesday with first serve slated for 1:30 p.m.
