Final Stats

THIBODAUX, La. - Nicholls men's tennis team took a 5-2 decision from Lamar on Saturday at the Colonel Tennis Complex, but fell 4-0 to Texas-Arlington on Sunday to close out the weekend.

The Colonels (8-8, 1-4) emerged victorious over the Cardinals (7-9, 0-3) on Saturday due to a strong showing in singles play as sophomores Radu Ionescu and Rohan Shetty, junior Eric Fisher and senior Abhaya Prakash all posted wins. Nicholls also won the doubles point, winning the first two matches to claim victory.

Texas-Arlington (9-9, 3-2) took the 4-0 victory from Nicholls on Sunday with play being suspended after the Mavericks had won three singles matches after securing the doubles point.

Complete results are below. The team will be back in action on Wednesday at Southern with first serve set for 2 p.m.
