Men's and Women's Tennis Get Wins Over Alcorn State

THIBODAUX, La. - The Nicholls State University men's and women's tennis teams each put together 7-0 wins on Tuesday afternoon in the Colonel Tennis Complex.

The men's team, now 11-4 overall, won all their sets in two sets with the exception of two, while the women's squad, now 7-6 overall, completed the full sweep by winning all singles matches in two sets.

The win for the women marked their third consecutive victory to go above the .500 mark on the season.

The men will not play again until Sunday, hosting Grambling, while the women will welcome Loyola on Friday.
