Final Stats

THIBODAUX, La. - The Nicholls State University men's tennis team fell 7-0 to Sun Belt Conference foe Troy on Sunday afternoon at the Colonel Tennis Complex.

The Colonels (7-3) lost all doubles, coming the close at the No. 3 spot with senior Eric Fisher and true freshman Roy Knight falling 8-6 to Guilherme Sahadi and Anas Rouchdi.

The Trojans (8-3) swept all the singles with senior Phenyo Matong and freshman Dmitry Kozionov forcing three sets. Matong went on to lose 7-5, 4-6, 1-0 to Aureloen Tave at No. 2, while Kozionov was defeated 6-4, 4-6, 1-0 by Mario Silva at No. 5.

Nicholls will be back in action on Tuesday when they host Alcorn State. Complete results from the match are below.
