Colonel Softball to Host Strike Out Cancer Day

THIBODAUX, La. – The Nicholls softball team will host its annual Strike Out Cancer Game on May 4 against McNeese State, benefiting the Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center at TGMC.

The Colonels will wear pink jerseys to help raise awareness for breast cancer, and fans are encouraged to wear pink to the game. There will also be a t-shirts for sale, a silent auction, and face painting for kids in attendance.

Before the game, Colonel Baseball Hall of Famer Scott Sanders and local cancer survivors will throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
