THIBODAUX, La. – Nicholls State University throwers Aja Scott and Jaimee Springer have both made the cut for the 2013 NCAA East Preliminary Meet which will be held at North Carolina A&T University in Greensboro May 23-25.

Scott will be making her fourth consecutive trip to the meet, which is the longest current streak for any athlete on the team, while Springer will be making her third appearance in the event as she has also qualified every season as a Colonel.

Springer is coming off of a Southland Conference championship performance in the javelin over the weekend at the conference meet earning first team all-league honors while Scott finished 11th overall.
