THIBODAUX, La. – The Nicholls Athletic Department announced the hiring of former Colonel, Katie Moulder as the KP Sports Corporate Sales Executive.
 
"We are very excited to have Katie join the team," Associate Athletic Director Brandon Ruttley said. "She possesses all the qualities that we look for in our sales professionals and we especially like the fact that she is a former Nicholls student-athlete. I have no doubt in my mind that her background and skill set will translate to success for Nicholls athletics!"
 
Katie will work with local, regional and national partners on strategic marketing initiatives to help raise money for Nicholls athletics.
 
"I was lucky to get a job immediately after graduating, but even more lucky to get a job at Nicholls," Moulder said. "Being on the Nicholls campus and working with such good people on a daily basis makes it feel more like a hobby than a job. I am so excited to be working at Nicholls and to help Nicholls Athletics in any way I can."
 
A native of League City, Texas, Moulder is daughter to Ken and Debra Moulder and has a younger sister, Madelyn. Graduating in May 2014, Moulder earned her degree in Health Sciences while pitching for the Colonel softball team.
 
"I have been on such a strict schedule for the past four years playing college softball," Moulder said. "I am organized and manage my time well because I had to when I was playing ball. I am very goal oriented and like to have success. That comes from softball. I definitely want to carry that over to my work for Nicholls."
