THIBODAUX, La. – The Nicholls State University athletics department will host the 16th Annual Seafood Extravaganza on Thursday, May 12 at 6 p.m. in the Cotillion Ballroom of the Bollinger Memorial Student Union.
 
This event is once again being sponsored by Rouses Markets, with all proceeds benefiting scholarships for Nicholls student-athletes.
 
"The Seafood Extravaganza has sold out the last three years in a row.," said Brandon Ruttley, Associate AD for External Relations. "Because of the generous contributions made at this event, we are able to give our student-athletes all the tools that it takes to be successful, and compete at a championship level right here at Nicholls. We are extremely grateful to have such a loyal group of supporters who go the extra mile for our student-athletes."

Single tickets are available for purchase for $100, which covers admission to the event and food. With only a limited amount of table packages on sale, these tables include reserved seating, recognition in the event program, signage and much more. 
 
Donations to the Colonel Athletics Association will also be accepted for those unable to attend the event but still looking to participate. Patrons are asked to reserve their table as soon as possible, with the attire for the Seafood Extravaganza set for Business Casual.
