2012 Season (Freshman): Started 33 of 34 games played… batted .177 with 14 hits including one double… had three multi-hit games, including a 3-for-3 day against Sam Houston (3/17)… scored seven times and drove in four… drew nine walks… was successful in her only stolen base attempt… threw out six runners from behind the plate.

At Poplarville: Lettered all four years for the Hornets... named all-district three times... earned MVP honors... two-time Offensive and Batting title winner... named to Mississippi All-Star Team... garnered all-state as a junior... earned award for offense and defense as a sophomore... was an honor roll student.

Personal: Emylea Paige Miller was born on Feb. 20, 1993 in Hattiesburg, Miss... daughter of Paul and Martha Miller... has a younger brother, Carsen... majoring in  biology.
