2012 Season (Junior): Named Southland Conference Newcomer of the Year and first-team All-SLC… earned second-team All-Louisiana honors… started all 44 games played… led the Southland and ranked 76th in the NCAA in batting average (.388)… tallied 54 hits on the year with two doubles… had 14 multi-hit games, including a four-hit outing against Centenary (4/11)… put together a nine-game hitting streak… led the conference in on-base percentage (.459) and hits per game (1.23)… was also second in stolen bases (15) and seventh in runs (30)… had one RBI… drew 18 walks… ended the year with a nine-game on-base streak.

At Buffalo: Lettered two seasons for the Bulls... was third on the team in hitting in 2011 (.255)... stole 16 bases... named to MAC All-Freshman team in 2010 after hitting .306… broke program's single-season stolen base record (26) in 2010...  had 10 multi-hit games.

At Clear Creek: Lettered four years for the Wildcats... set school record for stolen bases... earned first-team all-district and Gold Glove Award for second base as a senior... was second-team all-district as a junior and first-team as a sophomore... garnered third-team all-state in 2006... earned Sportsmanship Award... graduate cum laude... participated in Habitat for Humanity and Relay for Life.

Personal: Ashley Heather Bertot was born on May 29, 1991 in Elizabeth, NJ… daughter of Will and Robin Bertot…has a younger sister, Kaitlyn… majoring in accounting… career goal is to receive an MBA and become a CPA.
