2016 Season (Senior): Was the Colonels' first 20-win pitcher since 1998 as she went 23-8 on the season en route to being named Southland Conference Pitcher of the Year and All-SLC First Team... made 38 appearances in the circle with 30 starts, totaling 210.2 innings... had 20 complete games including three shutouts... also notched three saves... struck out 149 batters and limited hitters to a .193 batting average... allowed 57 runs (46 earned) and 146 hits... finished the season ranked 18th in the NCAA in ERA at 1.53, helping the Colonel staff to the fifth-best ERA in the country at 1.89... also ranked 25th in the NCAA in victories and hits allowed, and in her two starts against top 25 teams, she had a 1.08 ERA, including a four-hit performance in 2-0 loss to World Series participant LSU... tossed her first career no-hitter in a 1-0 victory over Northwestern State (4/22)... struck out a career-high 11 batters against Memphis... also garnered NFCA All-Region Third Team, All-Louisiana Second Team, Southland All-Academic First Team and CoSIDA Academic All-District.

2015 Season (Junior): Appeared in 34 games with 22 starts... named All-Southland honorable mention and Second Team Southland All-Academic... had a 13-10 record with two saves and a 2.94 ERA... tossed 152.1 innings, allowing 142 hits for a .237 average... surrendered 86 runs (64 earned)... struck out 109 batters and walked 60... had 12 complete games and one shutout... in Southland play, ranked second with 69 strikeouts and posted the seventh-best opponent batting average at .243.

2014 Season (Sophomore): Appeared in 28 games in the circle, starting 23 times... posted a 6-15 record with a 4.21 ERA... tossed 131.1 innings with one shutout... gave up 106 runs, with 79 earned... had 81 strikeouts... held opposing hitters to a .298 batting average.

2013 Season (Freshman): Named All-Southland honorable mention... pitched in 27 games as a true freshman, starting in 18... led the team with a 2.96 ERA, posting a 9-10 record... her ERA ranked 10th in the Southland... had a 2.18 ERA in conference play... tossed 113.2 innings with nine complete games and one combined shutout... limited the opposition to a .252 batting average which was sixth best in the SLC... gave up 72 runs, with 48 being earned... had 53 strikeouts... struck out six batters in three different games... named to the 2013 Southland Conference Commissioner's Spring Honor Roll.

At Hahnville: Named first-team all-state by the Louisiana Sports Writer’s Association and the Coaches Association as a junior and senior… garnered all-metro Pitcher of the Year in both seasons as well… named all-district co-MVP as a senior… made the Louisiana All-Star Team… helped lead the Tigers to 31-3 record and Louisiana 5A state runners-up… team won state title in 2011 with a 32-3 record… earned All State Sugar Bowl Amateur Athlete of the Month for April, 2011… also won WGNO Voodoo Athlete of the Week… graduated magna cum laude… member of the National Honors Society, Spanish Honors Society and Beta Club… made Superintendent’s List… won Dow Academic Award… also was in band and a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Personal: Hannah Marie Haydel was born on June 26, 1994 in New Orleans… daughter of Brett and Tammy Haydel… has an older brother, Derek Matherne, and a younger sister, Rebecca… majoring in speech pathology… career goal is to earn her Ph.D.
