Biography

2015 Season (Junior): Started 34 of 37 games played... hit .284 with 31 hits, six doubles, two triples and 17 RBis... scored 27 runs... drew seven walks... had two sac flies and two sacrifices... was successful on all nine stolen base attempts... struck out just three times in over 100 plate appearances.

2014 Season (Sophomore): Started all 44 games she played in... played primarily in left field... finished with a .237 batting average... had five doubles and two triples... scored 21 runs and had 15 RBIs... had 11 multi-hit games, including two three-hit games... drew 10 walks... was successful in 11 of 13 stolen base attempts. 

2013 Season (Freshman): Named All-Southland honorable mention... started 41 of 42 games played... was third on the team in batting average, hitting .317 (38 hits) with 11 RBIs... had four doubles and two triples for a .383 slugging percentage... had 10 multi-hit games including a career-best three twice... recorded the team's second longest hitting streak at eight games... had a team-best 17 game on-base streak... drove in a career-high three runs against Grambling... was walked 11 times and had nine hit-by-pitches... had one sac fly and three sacrifices... was 9-for-9 in stolen bases... earned Southland Hitter of the Week (4/8) after hitting .524 with five runs and four RBIs... scored 20 runs... had an on-base percentage of .411.

At East Coweta: Set eight school records and two state records while playing for the Indians… was first-team all-state in 2010 and 2011… four-time first-team all-region and all-county honoree… earned team MVP in her junior and senior years… made GACA and GA Dugout all-star teams in 2011… earned athlete of the month and week honors as a senior… won a Gold Glove Award in 2009… was a Scholar Athlete… graduated with honors.

Personal: Haley Alden Parkerson was born on Oct. 12, 1993 in Newnan, Ga…. daughter of Scott and Marsha Parkerson… has a younger brother, Collin… majoring in nursing… athletic goal is to become an all-American… career ambition is to earn an RN degree and to obtain a nursing degree in oncology.
