2016 Season (Junior): Started 55 of 56 games played... hit .243 with 42 singles... was second on the team in runs with 30 and had 18 RBIs... had 10 multi-hit games, including two 3-hit games... drew 11 walks... was 4-of-5 in stolen bases... struck out only once in 190 plate appearances... committed just two errors for a .989 fielding percentage... helped turn four double plays.

2015 Season (Sophomore): Started all 48 games at shortstop... was named Second Team All-Southland and Second Team Southland All-Academic... ranked 11th in the league in batting with a .358 average... registered 57 hits with a double, a triple and 15 RBIs... had a team-high 33 runs scored and 10 multi-hit games... posted a .418 on-base percentage... was second on the team with 17 walks... had one sac fly and eight sacrifices... was 8-of-11 in stolen bases... hit .402 in league play.

2014 Season (Freshman): Started 52 games at shortstop... was fourth on the team in hitting, finishing at .284... had 44 hits with two doubles, a triple and seven RBIs... recorded 12 multi-hit games, including one four-hit outing... was second on the team with 23 runs... had a .310 slugging percentage... drew six walks and was 4-of-7 in stolen bases.

At Live Oak: Lettered four years for the Eagles... named 5A First Team All-State as a senior after hitting .423 with 24 RBIs... earned first-team all-state coaches honors and All-Parish Slugger award in 2012... was a two-time first-team All-Metro player... named all-district all four years... lettered in basketball, earning Rookie of the Year in 2009... was an honor roll student and a student ambassador.

Personal: Brooke Ashton Morris was born Feb. 15, 1995... daughter of Winston and Stephanie Morris... her older brother Chase is in the Air Force and her twin sister, Brennan cheers at Southeastern La.... her grandfather, Darryl Morris, played football at Southeastern while her great uncle, Roy Winston, played football for LSU and the Minnesota Vikings... majoring in health and human performance... career ambition is to become a college coach.
