Nicholls State University

2020 Season (Junior): Played in 17 games and had 10 starts at designated player and short stop... had a .290 batting average with nine hits, two doubles and five RBIs... posted back-to-back two-hit outings against Mercer and Alabama State... drove in two runs against San Diego... drew five walks and scored four runs... stole one base... had one sacrifice bunt.

At Angelina College: Had a decorated two-year stint at Angelina... named all-conference second team and academic All-America as a freshman...in 2019, garnered NJCAA and NFCA All-America First Team... named conference and region player of the year... helped the Road Runners to an appearance in the NJCAA DI National Softball Tournament championship... posted a .476 batting average with 91 hits, 11 homers, and 53 RBIs... scored 70 runs and  had a .749 slugging percentage.

At Kingwood Park: Lettered in softball for the Panthers... was a first-team all-district selection all four years... named co-MVP in her senior year and MVP as a freshman... hit .476 in her sophomore campaign... earned academic all-district honors in 2017... played club ball for Hit Away Gold

Personal: Born July 30, 1999... parents are Melissa and Glenn Whitehead... has two older brothers, Triston and Cody... double major in psychology pre-counseling and interdisciplinary studies, with a minor in social sciences... career ambition is to work in clinical mental health counseling registered play therapy with children.
