2020 Season (Junior):
Started all 26 games playing at third base and catcher... posted a .260 batting average with 20 hits, one double, and five home runs...ranked second in the Southland in homers... totaled six multi-hit games... tied for sixth in the Southland with 18 RBIs and led the Colonels with four multi-RBI games... ranked second on the team with a .468 slugging percentage... had seven walks and six hit-by-pitches... recorded three sacrifice flies... was 2-for-2 in stolen bases... homered twice against Southern Illinois and drove in four runs... hit a walkoff single with the bases loaded in the 16th inning against South Alabama.

2019 Season (Sophomore): Was an All-Southland Third Team selection at third base in her first season with the Colonels... played and started in 53 games... hit .226 with 31 hits, six doubles, a triple, and a team-best seven home runs... drove in 24 RBIs and had 11 runs scored... reached base in 13 consecutive games... set the program single-season record with 15 hit-by-pitches... drew 11 walks and had three sacrifice flies and one sac bunt... hit a 3-run homer in the season opener against Southern Illinois, giving Nicholls a run-rule 9-0 victory... hit two home runs in win over Abilene Christian, going 3-for-4 with three RBIs... was named Southland All-Tournament after recording nine RBIs, highlighted by a grand slam in the win over McNeese... also hit a 3-run shot in the opening victory against Northwestern State. 

At UL-Lafayette: Started in eight games for the Ragin' Cajuns and appeared in 20…first career hit was a 2-run double in an 8-6 win over North Florida... also had an RBI single in win over Appalachian State... finished with two hits and four RBIs... drew four walks... threw out one base stealer... named to the Sun Belt Conference Academic Honor Roll .(2018).

At Spring:  Was a four-year letterwinner at catcher, first base and third base ... hit .500 with 12 home runs, 59 RBIs and a 1.095 slugging percentage in senior season, helping lead SHS to an undefeated district championship… chosen team MVP and received first team All-District 16-6A and All-Greater Houston recognition … as a junior season, hit .443 over 79 plate appearances … posted 31 hits, highlighted by nine doubles, and drove home 31 runs … committed only three errors in 158 total chances … helped lead the Lions into the 2014 state playoffs with a walk-off home run … member of National Honor Society... played travel ball for the Texas Peppers.

Personal: Born Jan. 12, 1999 … daughter of Joseph and Ramona Garcia … has one younger sister, Camryn … … an elementary education major … future plans after graduation are to become an elementary school teacher.
