As a freshman (2010): Played in 21 games with 15 starts… Hit .103 in 29 plate appearances… All three hits were for extra bases (two doubles, one home run)… Had five RBIs on the season… Drew three base on balls… Had one sacrifice… Threw out two base runners… Finished with a .971 fielding mark.

At East Central: Caught for the Hornets for four seasons, while also playing other spots in the infield... Helped guide the Hornets to two state championships during her tenure, claiming titles in 2007 and 2009... Awarded with MVP honors in the Mississippi All-Star Game... Received All-District in 2008 and 2009.

Personal: Jacklyn Elise Burri was born on July 27, 1991 in Charleston, South Carolina... Daughter of Sandra and John Burri... Has a brother named Ryan... Majoring in Communicative Disorders with hopes of one day working as a speech pathologist.
