ONE TEAM, ONE GOAL
"We are thrilled to launch The Record Setters Club, the official Booster Club for Nicholls Track & Field and Cross Country. Over the past three years, I have been amazed by the alumni, local runners/walkers/cyclists and community members who have supported our programs. This support has come in many forms, including companies and individuals committing as donors for our two home events -- the Colonel 5k & Nicholls XC Invitational -- joining the momentum on Give N Day, attending Nicholls Athletics fundraising events and the donation of generous gifts throughout the year, all of which have helped us provide the best student-athlete experience possible. The goal of The Record Setters Club is to more formally organize this group of supporters and enable us to provide a unique set of benefits to keep them better connected to our programs. I'm looking forward to the time we will get to spend with club members each month and how we can connect them more closely with our teams to show how their generosity is helping our student-athletes reach our team and individual goals."

Mission
-- To engage alumni, community members, and supporters with Nicholls State University track & field and cross country student-athletes and staff, fostering relationships that benefit our teams and community

Vision
-- To provide the best experience possible for Nicholls track & field and cross country student-athletes through initiatives and events that benefit our teams, campus and community

Goals
-- To improve the alumni experience of Nicholls track & field and cross country student-athletes by creating content and events that connect them to current student-athletes and Nicholls State University
-- To foster relationships within our campus and local community that supports health, wellness and an appreciation for the sports of track & field and cross country
-- To grow the support network for Nicholls track & field and cross country and increase attendance of fans at home and away competitions
-- To increase funding for additional team equipment, pre-season training, team training camps and team dinners and events
-- To provide additional funding for recruiting and team travel to increase the competitiveness of the Nicholls track & field and cross country programs

Membership Levels
-- Standard Membership: $100.00
-- Spousal Addition: +$50.00
-- VIP/Upgraded Membership (to include the sublimated Adidas Jersey): $150.00 for single membership; $200.00 for donor + spouse

Benefits & Perks
Standard Membership
-- Nicholls Track & Field/Cross Country Athletic Tank Top; upgrade to VIP membership to receive Adidas Sublimated Race Jersey instead
-- Annual one-on-one training talk with Coach Slekis or Coach Lord about your own running/racing or general fitness goals
-- Monthly members-only group run or training session with Coach Slekis or Coach Lord. These will take place at local training locations used by the track & field/cross country teams: Nicholls Farm, Mississippi River Trail, Valhi Blvd Trail (Houma), Campus Loop, 1200m Grass Track, and more*
-- Members-only yearly events, including the Nicholls XC Invitational Alumni Breakfast as well as a $5 discount on Colonel 5k & Nicholls XC Community Races
-- Monthly Coaches Notes, including photos, updates from practice/competitions, and other team events
-- Monthly invitation to watch one featured practice
*In order to accept training benefits, club members need to have finished high school and/or have exhausted NCAA eligibility

The Record Setters Club offers two membership levels with various corresponding benefits to the donor. Any person interested in joining The Record Setters Club can do so with cash, check or credit card. Memberships can be paid in full or by installment. All contributions to The Record Setters Club are recognized on a July 1st to June 30th fiscal year.
