2026 Season (Senior): Started all 42 games played at catcher... had 28 hits for a .243 batting average, totaling three doubles, a triple, one home run and 16 RBIs... tallied five multi-hit games... had 12 walks and seven runs scored... finished with three sacrifice flies and one sac bunt... hit her lone homer and doubled in win over AMCC, driving in four runs... first career triple came in SLC Tournament win over Northwestern State... threw out four runners trying to steal... posted the top fielding percentage for a catcher (.995) in the Southland.

2025 Season (Junior): Started 52 of 53 games played as the primary catcher... totaled 43 hits for a .279 batting average... posted nine multi-hit games including two 3-for-3 outings... had eight doubles and one home run... her lone homer tied the game in the sixth in the Colonels' 12-11 comeback win over Northwestern State... drove in 25 runs and scored 11... had 12 walks and one hit-by-pitch... put down three sacrifice bunts... stole one base... had the top caught stealing percentage (.759) in the Southland, throwing out 13 base runners.

2024 Season (Sophomore): Logged 28 starts in 30 games played... finished with 12 hits including three doubles and two home runs for a .190 batting average... had eight runs scored and eight RBIs... drew six walks and had a stolen base... recorded a sac fly and sac bunt... totaled three multi-hit games... doubled and homered in win over UTSA... also hit a home run in SLC Tournament win vs. Lamar... as a catcher, threw out eight runners trying to steal.

2023 Season (Freshman): Started 31 of 34 games, playing at catcher... totaled 19 hits with two doubles and a home run for a .241 batting average... had three runs scored and nine RBIs... drew five walks... had two sacrifice bunts... stole one base... tallied a breakout game at Texas A&M-Commerce where she was 3 for 3 with an RBI single... belted a 2-run shot in the Southland Tournament against Lamar for her first career home run... threw out 12 runners trying to steal.

At Dutchtown: Four-year starter for the Griffin softball team... named LSCA 5A All-State twice and was a Louisiana Sports Writers Association All-State honorable mention in 2022... earned All-Metro First Team in all three seasons (no awards given in 2020), as well as All-District and All-Parish... played in 2022 LHSCA/LSCA All-Star Senior game... also named to '22 LSWA All-Star Team... was a four-year Honor Roll student... Distinguished Honor Graduate... participated in Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office Annual Christmas Crusade and Ascension Parish Youth Special Olympics... played travel ball for Texas Hotshots.

Personal: Birthday is April 9... parents are Kim and Mike Songy... has a younger sister, Olivia... her great grandfather was a catcher for the New Orleans Pelicans minor league baseball team... majoring in communicative disorders /health sciences... career goal is to become a speech therapist.
