2011 (Freshman): In his first race at Nicholls finished in 21:51 at the McNeese Cowboy Stampede... In his first 8K race at the 2011 Southland Conference Championships, was the first Colonel to cross the tape in 28:38.5.
Prior to Nicholls -
South Lafourhce High School: Lettered in track and cross country four times each at South Lafourche High School ... Named first team all-district in cross country as a freshman in 2007 ... Placed 16th in the 3000 m at the 2008 National AAU Junior Olympics with a time of 9:39 ... Named MVP of the South Lafourche track and cross country teams in 2008 and 2009 ... Placed first at the 2009 district cross country meet ... Won the 1600 m parish and district campionships in 2009 and 2010, also claimed the 3200 m parish championship in 2010.
