Over the summer of 2019, Nicholls State University head track & field/cross country coach Stefanie Slekis announced Joshua Lee as the new graduate assistant coach for the program, serving as the assistant to Slekis for the Colonels cross country.
Prior to joining the Red & Gray, Lee competed for the Oral Roberts track & field/cross country program, notching numerous awards and honors while with the Golden Eagles. Notably, he was named the 2016 cross country team MVP, scored at the 2017 outdoor conference meet in the steeplechase and ran the 1,200m leg of the men's DMR team that scored at the indoor conference meet in both 2016 & 2017. Lee was also a member of the 2014 cross country team that earned USTFCCCA Academic All-American honors and acted for two years (2016-17) as the track & field SAAC representative at Oral Roberts.
Lee received a Bachelor of Arts from Oral Roberts University in 2017 and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Higher Education at Nicholls State University.
