Biography
Prior to Nicholls:
At North Idaho College: Had three top five finishes during his career and four top ten finishes as a Cardinal... Won the 2012 U.S. Amateur Qualifier in home state of Wyoming with two rounds of 72, earning a spot on the U.S. Amateur event at Cherry Hills... Finished ninth at the 2012 NIC College Fall Invitational with scores of 73-74... Finished fifth later that season at the Whitworth College Fall Invitational with scores of 75-72... In 2013 finished fifth at the 2013 MSUB Invitational (75-72) and Wyoming Amateur Championship (73-73-71).
At Sheridan High School: Was a two-time all-conference and all-state selection, winning an individual conference championship and two team Wyoming State Championships as a member of the Broncs, who also set the high school team record for most tournaments won consecutively with 35... Individually, was a third place finisher in 2009 at the Wyoming Junior Amateur Tournament, a 13th place finisher at the 2010 Wyoming Open and runner-up at the 2011 Wyoming Junior Amateur event... Was selected to be a part of the 2010 Wyoming team for the Junior America's Cup.... Was the 2011 Social Studies Student of the Year and graduated in the top 25 percent of his class.
