2016 Season (Senior): Had a strong senior campaign as she was named All-Southland honorable mention after hitting .302 with 49 hits, nine doubles and four home runs... started 52 of 55 games played... finished second on the team with 26 RBIs... had 10 multi-hit games and an 8-game hitting streak... posted a 3-for-3 outing against Sam Houston State... registered a .432 slugging percentage... had three sacrifice bunts and one sac fly... stole one base... earned Southland All-Academic Second Team honors.

2015 Season (Junior): Started 44 of 45 games played... was fifth on the team in batting with a .311 average... had 41 hits with eight doubles and tied for the team lead with four home runs... was second on the team with 31 RBIs... scored 17 runs... had a .462 slugging percentage... drew 14 walks... had two sacrifice flies and one sacrifice... hit a 2-run walk-off homer in win over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.

At Tallahassee CC: Named Third-Team NFCA All- American and First-Team All-Panhandle Conference, All-Gulf District, All-State, All- State Tournament and All- Southern Region... batted .355 with 13 home runs, a school-record 53 RBIs and a .628 slugging percentage... helped lead the Eagles to their first Panhandle Conference championship since 1998 and first FCSAA State Championship since 1994... served as a Student Athlete Advisory Committee representative... was a FCSAA All-Academic honoree in 2012-14... earned NJCAA Academic All-American honors... received the Exemplary Academic Achievement in 2013-14.

At Lincoln-Way East: Played softball for the Griffins... earned team MVP, all-conference and Southtown all-area... helped lead her team to a conference championship... was a scholar athlete... served as yearbook editor.

Personal: Alexis Nicole Huss was born on November 8, 1993... daughter of Scott and Dawn Huss... has two younger sisters, Nicole and Lauren... her father played baseball at Illinois State... majoring in mass communications-public relations/government... career ambition is to become a lobbyist.
