- Southland All-Academic Second Team

2020 Season (Redshirt Freshman): Started 17 of 18 games played, playing at shortstop... totaled eight hits for a .211 batting average... recorded two doubles, a home run, and five RBIs... had a pair of two-hit efforts in wins over Purdue and Mercer...  first career homer came against Middle Tennessee... drew five walk and had five runs scored... registered one sacrifice fly and three sac bunts... was 2-3 in stolen bases... named Southland All-Academic Second Team.

2019 Season (Freshman): Did not appear in any games... received a redshirt.

At Ponchatoula: Was a three-time 5A All-State honorable mention selection... earned All-Metro her senior season... named all-district in each of her four seasons... earned team MVP as a junior and senior... hit .432 with five home runs and 36 RBIs in her senior campaign.. also played basketball, earning all-district three times... team MVP as a senior... graduated top 10 of her class... member of the National Honor Society... was Academic All-State in softball and basketball.... also participated in Interact, student council, volunteered for the local and state Special Olympics, and served as senior class officer.

Personal: Birthday is Feb. 11, 2000... daughter of Shari and Royboy Amerson…has an older brother, Ryan, and younger brother, Gup... Ryan plays baseball at William Carey in Hattiesburg, Miss.... majoring in biology pre-med.
