Biography

2016 Season (Junior): Pitched in five games... had a 1.75 ERA in four innings pitched... allowed four hits and an earned run... had four strikeouts and three walks.

2015 Season (Sophomore): Pitched in 23 games with 16 starts... had a 7-9 record with two saves... finished with a 4.75 ERA, allowing 71 runs (64 earned)... surrendered 85 hits in 94.1 innings for a .239 opponent batting average... had 74 strikeouts and 62 walks... had four complete games and one combined shutout.

2014 Season (Freshman): Had 26 starts in the circle... posted a 10-15 record with a 2.87 ERA... had one shutout in 151.1 innings pitched... recorded 16 complete games... struck out 123 batters... ranked fifth in the Southland in ERA, strikeouts and opposing batting average (.242).

At Belle Chasse: Lettered four years in softball for the Cardinals... named 4A First Team All-State as a senior after posting a 23-3 record with 280 strikeouts... also named all-state as a junior and earned honorable mention in 2010... three-time all-metro player... was named All-District MVP. 

Personal: Jaclyn Marie Johnson was born Dec. 15, 1994... daughter of Philip and Patricia Johnson... has two sisters, Katie and Haley... majoring in biology... career ambition is to become a surgical technician.
