At Texas State: Started seven of her nine appearances as a true freshman in 2020... posted a .200 batting average with three hits and one RBI... scored four runs and drew two walks... was 1-for-1 in stolen bases... recorded a triple against UC Davis... had a single and two runs scored against Georgia State... ended season with a three-game hitting streak.

At Edinburg: Earned All-District 31-6A First Team honors as an infielder all four years... National Honor Society Top 10%... played travel ball for Aces Express.

Personal: Born April 3, 2001... daughter of Juan and Adriana Zavala... has two siblings, Alexia and Gio... majoring in marketing.
